Below is the tutorial for starting a TxEff flash transition using the drag-and-drop method.
TxEff (Drag-and-Drop Text Transition Effects!)
by admin on May.03, 2009, under Flash Components, TxEff, Web Design
This little tool was a GREAT find! Some of you designers might already be using this, but for those of you who haven’t enjoy the read. Just drag-and-drop it’s that easy!
JumpEye Components have created a great tool, along with many others, that lets you create beautiful text transitions within flash movies, slideshows (must support swf’s!), in/out text transitions or just one transition and end with a stop();. Any way you use this its gonna be a smooth transition. It includes 100+ transitions for you to use and you can even create a new transition.
However, this extension is not free. You can purchase this Flash Component from here.
The online Effect Database, older versions TxEff old page, is filled with choices and new ones are added all the time, you can even create your own.
Compatibility
* ActionScript3 (AS3), older versions support AS2.
* Flash CS3
* Flash Player 9
Slideshow Pro
by admin on May.03, 2009, under Flash Components, Slideshow Pro
Slideshow Pro is a flash component that is used to create a flash based slideshow. It is able to integrate itself with Lightbox and external controls called by javascript functions. The files are called via an XML file and can call a number of different file types including, JPG, SWF and FLV.
Although it does not support RTMP, streaming media, it is still a very nice tool for creating rich and very dynamic media galleries when executed correctly.
